Bridge Crossing the River Fils in Ebersbach

Trough Bridge as Connection for Pipes and Pedestrians

Description

The timber trough bridge with a width of 2,5 meters spans over a length of approximately 36 meters. Two large glulam girders form the main construction and are supported by steel frames within the cross section. The glulam girders are protected from weathering by a lateral cladding and a titan zinc sheet on the top.

Two cross girder levels provide space for crossing pedestrians and media routing. Profiled sheet metal create a durable non slip decking.

A steel parapet with horizontal steel wires functions as guardrail.
