Cable Stayed Bridge in Ahrweiler
Description
The cable stayed bridge in Ahrweiler fills a gap in the Ahr cycling valley. The anthracite painted steel pylons invite, with its oversized opening, cyclists and pedestrians to cross the bridge. The longitudinal beams are made of steel and the planks for the decking of oak wood. The cladding of natural stone at the foundation complete the entire picture.
