In association with the architecture firm Powerhouse Company from Rotterdam we have worked out the design of a partly foldable block timber bridge to compete for the contest of the municipality of Dordrecht in the Netherlands.
Wherever railways take place, bridges are needed. Since May of this year we have been prequalified by the german major train company “Deutsche Bahn” for planning- and engineering- services in the pedestrian bridge section.
There was a report about innovative timber truss bridges composed of Accoya glulam in Sneek published in the June edition in the magazine Structural Engineer.
