Electric vehicle charging infrastructure for Fastned
"Solar trees" as fast-charging stations, NL
Description
For a Europe-wide charging infrastructure project by the fast-charging provider Fastned, our structural engineering firm provided comprehensive structural and design support for the distinctive timber-framed ‘solar trees’.
Our services included consultancy on country-specific load assumptions, taking into account varying standards and climatic conditions across Europe. Building on this, we carried out the structural design of the innovative timber structures as well as the detailed construction planning for the solar trees and their foundation components.
The project combines sustainable construction with sophisticated engineering and makes an important contribution to a future-proof mobility infrastructure.
