the highest point on the Belgian coast, awarded by the municipality of Koksijde and Westtoer.\u00a0The 21,6-meter-high wooden structure is due to open in 2019 as part of the Horizon 2025 tourism program in the Belgian province of West Flanders and Westtoer.\u00a0By 2025, around 20 more observation points are to be built along the coastal route.<br \/><br \/>The construction of the tower consists of vertically arranged glulam beams, with a helix-shaped wooden staircase allowing a separation of entrance and exit to the viewing platform.\u00a0The platform made of cross-laminated timber, supported by the columns, which protrudes clearly in the direction of the north sea, forms a generously designed look-out over the directly adjacent dune
