It contributes to the region&#8217;s safe and efficient cycling infrastructure.<\/p><p>The superstructure is designed as a two-web plate girder in a composite wood-concrete construction. The webs consist of block-bonded GL30c glulam beams and are connected to the reinforced concrete deck slab in a shear-resistant manner. The composite structure makes optimum use of the respective material advantages of wood and concrete.<\/p><p>The shear connection is created by means of notches in combination with head-reinforced threaded rods for tension reinforcement, ensuring reliable force transmission. Reinforced concrete cross beams are arranged in the bearing axes, to which the wooden beams are connected in a rigid manner by means of form closure and bonded reinforcing steel.<\/p><p>The superstructure consists of C35\/45 concrete and B500B reinforcing steel in combination with glulam and combines load-bearing capacity, durability and sustainability in modern timber bridge
